Help support the IFC in conquering cancer!

Relay For Life is a program started by the American Cancer Society which involves teams of 8-15 participants walking around a track for 12 hours, keeping at least 1 member on the track at all times.
Relay is much more than a walk around a track. It is a time to remember those lost to cancer and celebrate those who have survived. It is a night for people who have shared the same experience to comfort and console one another. During the walk, there will be live bands, food, and other events going on to keep walkers in great spirits and energized for more!
The Interfraternity Council has set a goal for Greek houses to raise $20,000 collectively to help support the American Cancer Society and Relay For Life on our campus. Thus far, we have raised over $50,000! Become a part of the Relay and sign up now and support your fraternity!
The Interfraternity Council been generously been donated a projector from
Lumen Lab and it will be awarded to the house which raises the most money per brother. Best of luck to all the houses!

News from the President
Spring rush is here! On Tuesday, January 24th, at 7pm in Mother's in the Union, the IFC will be holding "Meet the Greeks", an event typically done in the fall, which involves all the houses bringing their president's and rush chairs and answering questions to prospective Greeks.
Independent Rensselaer students are invited to join us for pizza and soda this Tuesday to ask any questions they may have about Greek life, any concerns which may have come up during fall rush or just to hang out. If you have any questions about the event, please email our VP Recruitment, Kate D'Anna (
dannak@rpi.edu) and she will be happy to answer them!
Finally, please note that this site is under construction and that our final site will be much different from this layout. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to email me at
vaghes@rpi.edu.
